What is this application about?
Every month the most active Kitty Inu community members on X earn a $kitty allocation based on their activity ranking. The allocation is provided by the Kitty Inu DAO and the $kitty are airdropped by the DAO Committee. The more active you are on X, the more points you'll earn, the more $kitty you'll receive.
Who is eligible for the airdrops?
Everyone over 18 who logged in and linked either their Discord or Telegram account and an Ethereum address are eligible to receive their $kitty allocation.
How many $kitty will be airdropped?
The prize pool is 999,999,999 $kitty for 3 months (333,333,333 $kitty a month) with a maximum of $99,999 per month.
When the monthly airdrop pool is less than $9,999, the allocation is shared between the top 50 members. For every additional $4,500 beyond $9,999, the allocation is extended to 10 more people by adding 10 ranks.

How can I earn points?
- Every post on X containing Kitty Inu, KittyInu, KittyInuDAO, Kitties R Us or KittyKart and every reply to a KittyInuDAO's post grants up to 175 points.
- 1 point per view from 1 to 100
- 0.056 point per view from 101 to 1,000
- 0.0028 point per view from 1,001 to 10,000
- A post with 10 views grants 10 points, 100 views grants 100 points, 500 views 122 points, 1,000 views 150 points, 5,000 views 161 points and 10,000 views and more 175 points. The idea is to even the playing field between big and small accounts, so everyone gets a chance to be eligible for an airdrop.
- If an eligible post published by another poster is quoting one of your eligible posts, you'll get 50% of the points generated by this post. The author of the post still earns 100% of the points generated by their post.
- Liking a KittyInuDAO's post grants you 10 points.
- Reposting or quoting a KittyInuDAO's post published on the main timeline (i.e. not replies) grants you 50 points.
There are a few limitations to encourage quality over quantity. Regularly posting qualitative messages should grant you more points than posting massive amount of copy/paste messages.
- Only 1 eligible post a day published in your main timeline is taken into account. The one with the most views is used.
- Only up to 5 replies a day, the ones with the most views, are taken into account.
- All replies to the KittyInuDAO's account's main posts (i.e. not the replies) are taken into account. The replies must be posted within 48 hours after the posts publications.
- Only 1 reply a day to a reply posted by the KittyInuDAO's account is taken into account, the one with the most views.
- If you post multiple replies under the same post, only the first reply will be taken into account.
- Liking, reposting and quoting of KittyInuDAO's posts must happen within 48 hours after publication to be taken into account.
Additionally, a few bonuses and penalties are applied to points generated by posts and replies to strongly penalize bots and spammers and to reward qualitative contents.
- Penalties
- A post similarity rate between 80% and 100% grants a -10% to -100% penalty
- An average tag count between 5 and 10 (and beyond) grants a -10% to -100% penalty
- An average tag density between 40% and 80% (and beyond) grants a -10% to -100% penalty
- An average post length from 19 characters long to 0 grants a -10% to -50% penalty
- Bonuses
- A post similarity rate between 40% and 30% (and below) grants a +5% to +10% bonus
- An average post length between 40 and 60 (and above) grants a +5% to +10% bonus

How are the points converted into $kitty?
The most active registered members who claimed their account share the prize pool. The allocation is based on the ranking and not on the amount of points earned. The allocation follows a slightly exponential formula, as shown in the previous table. The top one gets 5 times more $kitty than the last one, the tenth one about 4 times more, the 25th one about 2 times more, etc.
When are the allocations sent?
Allocations are usually sent within 1 to 3 months after the month ends.
When a month ends, a 30 days period starts during when the DAO can remove any bots, sybil or malicious accounts. Once this periods end, the allocations are final and the DAO's Committee can send them.
To reduce gas fee costs for the DAO, the DAO's Committee can decide to merge up to three allocations together, which would delay the first month's allocation period by another one to two months.
Why are my X posts or likes being ignored?
Posts and likes are being analyzed about 48 hours after their publication. If your post is less than 2 days old, please wait.
If your 2 days old posts are missing, it may be because your X account got shadowbanned. If your posts don't appear in the public X search tool, we also can't see them. You can check if your account is shadowbanned on this site. If your account got shadowbanned, it most likely means you posted too many messages in a small period of time. The only way to get your shadowbanning lifted is to slow down your postings and to wait to it to end (usually in less than 24 hours).
Under heavy load circumstances, when thousands of people are liking a X post or when hundreds of people are publishing posts about Kitty under just a few minutes, some content may unfortunately be lost.

How to not get banned?
Spamming and boting is not allowed. If you post a lot of identical or very similar messages, or very low value messages, the DAO can decide to ban your account indefinitely. Please make sure to post meaningful messages and please avoid copy-pasting.
Also, please make sure to participate in the Kitty Telegram or Discord discussions with meaningful contents to make it less likely for you to be considered as a bot and to get banned.
What is being done to fight against bots?
The scoring algorithm doesn't favor bots. Spamming X won't grant you a lot of points as scoring is mostly based on views and no more than 10 posts a day will be taken into consideration. Posting 5 qualitative posts a day will very likely grant you more points than spamming 100 meaningless posts.
Also, posting too much will get you shadowbanned, leading to your posts becoming invisible to the app and not being taken into account.
To protect against elaborate attacks, we also ask for the community members to link either their Discord or Telegram account to make sure they are actually involved within the Kitty Inu community. If a member's activity looks suspicious to the DAO, a vote can be initiated on Discord to exclude them from any allocation.
Users can also report suspicious accounts and initiate votes to ban them.
How can I report a malicious account?
If you think the activity of an account is suspicious, go on their profile and click the "Report this user" button on the top left.
You must has earned an allocation in the past six months to be able to report an account.
If you're not allowed to report an account, please report it in our Discord or Telegram.
When two users report the same account, a vote is initiated to get them banned.
